Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights activist, author as well as a model and actress. She has been acclaimed for her roles in films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). New York was her home and she was brought up in an artistic environment. She began working as a photography assistant and later moved into modeling and acting. She won the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as an aspiring young actress. MacGraw was a household name in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was considered for nomination to an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films MacGraw was named as the top female performer film in the history of box offices. In Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she had her name and footprints hand-engraved. In addition to The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv show The Winds of War. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married to three individuals.
