Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cookbook author for a number of decades. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa, which started in 2002. Ina began her career by working at the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget as well as policy reports. While she initially found the work fascinating and intellectually stimulating, she soon became bored. Barefoot Contessa was then acquired. Her store was extremely successful for 18 years, until she made the decision to close it. After that, she started her first cookbook. The other cookbooks came out, as were magazine articles. The Food Network television program also was launched and soon became a hit. She also sells a range of product from cooking ingredients to storage and equipment. Ina she is a self-taught cook she has never attended a culinary school or in an establishment. Her relaxed approach to entertaining and her straightforward cooking style are well known. Her best-known recipes include Skillet roasted lemon chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & cheese Beef Bourguignon. Balsamic roasted Brussels Sprouts, Lemon Bars as well as Mac and cheese.
