Coleman is Lancashire-born. She was a headgirl of Arnold School, Blackpool and received straight A's in her A levels. Coleman regrets not having get a normal schooling when talking about her experience at Emmerdale. At the time of her schooling, Coleman was a member of a theater company named In Yer Space with whom she was a part of the Edinburgh Festival in the play Crystal Clear. Her performance was well-received by the audience, and the show received positive reviews. Coleman was auditioning to join drama colleges in 2005, was offered Jasmine Thomas' role in Emmerdale. Coleman was nominated for awards in 2007 and won two awards. The British Soap Awards she was named Best Newcomer, and in the National Television Awards she was awarded the title of Most Popular Newcomer. The British Soap Awards of 2009 she was awarded in the categories of Best Actress and Sexiest female and Best Dramatic Acting. Coleman won a TV Choice Award nomination for Best Actress. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who made it clear at a press meeting held on the 21st march 2012, that Coleman would take over the role of Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat selected her for the role because she worked well with Smith and also spoke faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been in the world of entertainment since 1987. But she's been more prominent on TV as opposed to films. Eva is most well-known for her roles in the role of the character Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children and detective Natalia Boa Vistas in CSI Miami. The former even earned her two nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards and allowed her to explore her creativity in music. Apart from being an actor Eva is also a philanthropist as well as an entrepreneur. She was married three times and also has a daughter with her previous husband.
