Cecily Legler Strong, an American stand-up comedian and actor is known for her role as a character on 'Saturday Night Live.' Her stage career started in the theatre however, she found herself interested in comedy after attending an improv class at the age of nine years old. It was her initial intention to become an actor, however, she realized her passion was comedy. After that, she shifted her focus to doing in improv. Her first stage was aboard cruise ships along with fellow members of Second City Conservatory, iO Chicago as well as other improv ensembles. Strong participated in popular shows like Chicago Sketch Fest and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She performed with Virgin Daiquiri which is an all-female troupe, as well as New York Sketchfest. In 2012, she became big when she joined "Saturday night Live.' She co-anchored the Weekend Update segment with Seth Meyers at first and then alongside Colin Jost. One of the most significant moments for Cecily on the show was her character in 'The Girl You'd Rather Not Engaged in a Conversation With at a Party'.
